This application gives the Ryukyu Shorinji-Ryu Karate Association an opportunity to learn about your school, instructor background, training experience, and goals. Applications are reviewed individually and thoughtfully. If your application is accepted, RSKA will provide you with a link to complete the Charter Membership payment. No payment is required when submitting this application.

Tell us about your teaching experience, instructional background, and experience with traditional Okinawan karate.

6 RSKA Curriculum

Charter Schools are expected to support the RSKA-recognized curriculum and preserve traditional Okinawan karate principles.

7 Traditional Values

RSKA Charter Schools are encouraged to actively teach and demonstrate these traditional values.

Charter Schools are expected to maintain accurate student records and follow applicable RSKA standards for advancement.

RSKA Rank Opportunity

Students of an RSKA Charter School may have the opportunity to progress in Ryukyu Shorinji-Ryu Karate Jutsu and earn RSKA-recognized rank, subject to applicable requirements, examination, technical standards, conduct, and appropriate authorization. Rank is earned through training and demonstrated ability and is not automatically granted through Charter Membership.

12 RSKA Name, Emblem & Branding

13 Association Participation

Charter Schools are encouraged to maintain an active, cooperative relationship with RSKA and participate in association opportunities when possible.

14 RSKA Black Belt Club Consideration

Qualified black belt instructors affiliated with an RSKA Charter School may be eligible for consideration for the RSKA Black Belt Club. Charter Membership and Black Belt Club membership are separate opportunities.

15 Charter Membership Commitment

I confirm that I have reviewed the RSKA School Charter Program and understand the general expectations associated with Charter Membership.

I understand that an RSKA Charter School is expected to preserve traditional Okinawan karate, maintain appropriate technical and instructional standards, respect the integrity of lineage and rank, maintain professional conduct, provide a safe training environment, and follow applicable RSKA Charter guidelines.

I understand that continued Charter Membership depends upon maintaining these general standards and representing the RSKA name and traditions responsibly.

16 Charter Term Selection

Select the Charter term you would like to request. Your selection will be included with your application. Payment will be requested only after the application has been reviewed and accepted.

How the Process Works:

Submit your application first. RSKA will review the information provided and contact you regarding the application. If the application is accepted, RSKA will provide a secure payment link for the selected Charter Membership term. No Charter Membership payment is required with this application.
